We were </span><span style="font-size:100%;">scheduled for a induction at 6 am on December 10. We arrived at the ho</span><span style="font-size:100%;">spital and were checked in and I wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s given Pitocin. It wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">sn't more than 15 minute</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s that baby Landon did not like the Pitocin and dipped! The nur</span><span style="font-size:100%;">se came ru</span><span style="font-size:100%;">shing in becau</span><span style="font-size:100%;">se I had a contraction that la</span><span style="font-size:100%;">sted for about 7 minute</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s and Landon had flat lined. The nur</span><span style="font-size:100%;">se immediately took me off the Pitocin and called my doctor. Becau</span><span style="font-size:100%;">se of the reaction he had to the Pitocin we had to make the deci</span><span style="font-size:100%;">sion to have a C-</span><span style="font-size:100%;">section. Within an hour I wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s in the OR getting a </span><span style="font-size:100%;">spinal tap and ready to give birth! My hu</span><span style="font-size:100%;">sband, Jeremy, w</span><span style="font-size:100%;">a</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s able to be by my </span><span style="font-size:100%;">side becau</span><span style="font-size:100%;">se I wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s only numb from the </span><span style="font-size:100%;">stomach down. It wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s </span><span style="font-size:100%;">so </span><span style="font-size:100%;">strange to be awake while I wa</span><span style="font-size:100%;">s in </span><span style="font-size:100%;">surgery.
