Robyn's New Addition to Her Family

are proud to announce their new addition to their family!

Landon Jay Walters
He arrived on December 10, 2008 at 9:19 am.

He weighed a healthy 7 lbs and came out kicking and screaming!

Giving Birth

Robyn gave birth at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. We were scheduled for a induction at 6 am on December 10. We arrived at the hospital and were checked in and I was given Pitocin. It wasn't more than 15 minutes that baby Landon did not like the Pitocin and dipped! The nurse came rushing in because I had a contraction that lasted for about 7 minutes and Landon had flat lined. The nurse immediately took me off the Pitocin and called my doctor. Because of the reaction he had to the Pitocin we had to make the decision to have a C-section. Within an hour I was in the OR getting a spinal tap and ready to give birth! My husband, Jeremy, was able to be by my side because I was only numb from the stomach down. It was so strange to be awake while I was in surgery. Overall, the surgery went well and we now have a healthy baby boy!
